Snorkeling at the Kisite Marine Park

Look just below the surface – that’s where all the action is!

Snorkeling is an exciting activity and a great introduction to Kisite’s amazing underwater world, that anyone, young or old, can enjoy with a minimum of equipment and little training – and is an enjoyable way to get the whole family involved. For younger members of the family, snorkeling is also a great introduction to underwater sports and can be their first step towards learning to Scuba Dive.

It’s your chance to start exploring a new and fascinating world.

At the Kisite Marine Park, our very capable crew will show you how to snorkel as also guide you around the reef showing you all the weired and wonderful creatures that live under the water. You may even be able to see the resident dolphins who love to play with divers and snorkelers.

Did you know that Snorkeling is mentioned by Aristotle in his “Parts of the Animals”. He refers to divers using “instruments for respiration” resembling the elephant’s trunk.
